A whiff of roasted bean – Mandheling Coffee

Posted in Blogroll, Coffee, Food on Sunday, February 26, 2012 by Colin Quek

It is my monthly “hideout” day today and I decided to hold up in a cafe with an attempt to finish a book.

The next thing I know, the coffee I ordered was drawing me away from the book with its rich yet thin aroma.

So let me introduce to you my first Mandheling Coffee. I must say that it is the sort of coffee that perks up the senses discretely. It is subtle and full bodied.

A cup of Mandheling Coffee

A quick research didn’t manage to dig up much info about the coffee, except the following:

  1. It is grown on the island of Sumatra
  2. At a height of between 2,500 ~ 5,000 feet above sea level
But hey, go drink it for yourself and let me know if how you like it 🙂
